Olney's $39 Million Payroll Trumps Yankee's $200 Million

By virtue of defeating three other ESPN.com baseball writers, Buster Olney faced the New York Yankees in a Battle of the Budgets best-of-seven series.  The simulation baseball tournament was created by Imagine Sports recently for the top baseball writers at ESPN.

Despite a meager $40 million salary cap to work with, Olney's simulation squad took the Yankees 1-0 in Game 5, winning the series 4-1.
